Where to Develop Film
Two ways to find a lab: pick a great mail-in shop based on what you're shooting, or search for one in driving distance. We don't process your film. We just point you at the people who do.
A 30-second chemistry primer
Different film types need different chemistry. The lab you ship to has to support the right one or your photos won't develop.
- C-41: standard color negative film. Portra, Gold, Ektar, ColorPlus, Pro 400H, etc.
- Black & white: silver gelatin film. Tri-X, HP5+, Delta, T-Max, FP4+, Acros, Fomapan.
- E-6: color slide / transparency film. Ektachrome, Velvia, Provia.
- ECN-2: motion picture color film, like Kodak Vision3 250D / 500T. Has a remjet anti-halation layer that ECN-2 labs are equipped to remove. CineStill stocks are Vision3 with the remjet pre-removed, so they go through normal C-41.

Find Labs Near You
Search by city and state. Results combine our hand-vetted local labs with auto-discovered nearby photo shops.
About capability detection. Our hand-vetted labs (badged Verified) had their offerings confirmed by us. Auto-discovered local results (badged Auto) had their capabilities guessed by reading their homepage; this can miss things or be wrong. Always confirm chemistry support with the lab before sending film.
